Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 23 July 2026
This policy covers fixed-scope package purchases and bespoke copywriting engagements. Because the work delivered is a custom written product rather than a physical good, refund terms are based on the stage of work completed rather than a standard returns window.
1. Before work begins
If you cancel before any draft work has started, you're entitled to a full refund.
2. After a first draft has been delivered
Once a first draft has been delivered, the project is considered substantially underway. Cancelling at this stage is not eligible for a full refund, as the majority of the writing work is complete; a partial refund reflecting the stage of work completed may be agreed on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@thelifestylecopywriter.com to discuss.
3. Revisions
Every package includes one structured revision round at no extra cost. This is not a refund mechanism — it's the mechanism for getting the delivered copy right. Requests outside the agreed scope are quoted as additional work, not covered by a refund claim.
4. Recurring packages (Monthly Newsletter, Content Retainer)
Recurring packages can be cancelled at any time to stop future billing. Cancellation applies from the next billing cycle; the current paid period is delivered as scoped and is non-refundable once work for that cycle has started. Please cancel with reasonable notice before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the following cycle.
5. Bespoke projects
Cancellation terms for bespoke, quoted work are confirmed in writing as part of the project agreement before work begins, and take precedence over the general terms above for that project.
6. Declined or failed payments
If a payment is declined at checkout, no order is placed and no charge occurs. This site's checkout currently runs in test/mock mode; it never charges a real card.
7. How to request a cancellation or refund
Contact support@thelifestylecopywriter.com with your order reference. Requests are reviewed and responded to as promptly as possible, generally within a few business days.
8. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under Spanish or EU consumer-protection law that cannot be waived by agreement, including rights relating to the provision of digital services and content.
